About Me

• I was born in Canada, but moved to San Diego 14 years ago 

 

• Music feeds my soul. I play piano, sing on the worship team at church, and love going to concerts.

• Completed my Bachelor of Education at Nipissing University, and my Bachelor of Arts in International Development at  Guelph University (Canada)

• Received  my Masters of Education from Regent University (USA)

​

• Professionally Certified Educational Therapist with the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD)

​

• California Credentialed Teacher, and trained as an English as a Second Language Instructor (TESOL) 

​

• Trained in Gray Matter (NILD), Barton Reading & Spelling, Handwriting Without Tears, Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment, Executive Functioning, Social & Emotional Learning, Building Thinking Skills

• Over seven years experience teaching  diverse populations  of students in Canada, Kuwait, Japan, and the United States

​

• Fourth year working in Educational Therapy. I love watching students gain confidence and competence as they develop skills to become  lifelong learners
